Sundyne Showcases Pumps and Compressors for Hydrogen & Carbon Capture Applications at Hyvolution in Paris, February 1-2, 2023
Sundyne’s Pumps & Compressors are widely used around the Globe for the Production, Distribution and Storage of Carbon-Free Hydrogen
Paris, France – January 20, 2023 – Sundyne, a global leader in the design and manufacture of pumps and compressors, today announced that it is exhibiting at Hyvolution – France’s leading event for carbon-free Hydrogen used in energy, industry and transportation. Hyvolution takes place February 1-2, at Paris Porte de Versailles. Sundyne is exhibiting in Stand 6C24.
The Hyvolution event brings together more than 350 exhibitors to showcase technologies for hydrogen processing and Carbon Capture, Utilization and Storage (CCUS). The venue offers a unique setting for identifying project initiators and networking with service providers, end users, government authorities and market stakeholders who are actively involved in the production, distribution and storage of carbon-free Hydrogen.
Exhibiting in Stand 6C24, Sundyne will showcase how its pumps & compressors support today’s energy transition. Sundyne’s broad product portfolio addresses a wide range of H2 and CCUS applications. The company’s unique combination of technology, expertise and support provides a full lifecycle service that spans everything from project pre-feed to comprehensive 24×7 support. At Hyvolution, Sundyne will showcase:
- PPI Diaphragm Compressors: which are specifically designed to address the challenges associated with compressing H2 from low pressure levels (such as electrolyzer outlet pressure) up to the 1,000 bar levels that are required by today’s vehicles that run on hydrogen.
- Integrally Geared Centrifugal Compressors: which are used for CO2 capture and for Pressure Swing Adsorption (PSA) blower applications.
- Sundyne’s ETFE-lined ANSIMAG pumps or HMD Kontro metallic pumps are widely used to pump water and chemicals for pH control into electrolyzers. Sundyne’s sealless pumps feature a compact footprint (with no seals or seal support systems), which is important to accommodate space constraints on electrolyzer skids. Sealless pumps also eliminate the potential for leaks and they are easier to install, operate and maintain.
“Today, every industry seeks ways to reduce carbon emissions, and companies from all around the world are researching carbon-capture strategies and launching projects that use hydrogen as a feedstock for power generation,” said Sundyne’s Global Compressor Product Line Manager, Gregory Junot.
“We’re looking forward to spending time with our customers and channel partners at Hyvolution,” added Sundyne’s Vice President, Hydrogen Michael O’Neil. “We’re also looking forward to showcasing our technology and to helping attendees understand the unique role that our pumps & compressors play in Hydrogen and CCUS applications.”
